 1. Learn Faster with Hands-On Practice

There is a significant gap/lag between the industry practical needs and academic education. To close the gap in short time, we introduce the cutting-edge technology and tools in industries by practical lab projects, so that every trainee in our program can fully understand our lectures from hands-on experience. We invite multiple senior engineers to help students get comprehensive understanding of data science. Also, professional TAs with industry experience are hired to answer questions and assist your study. To provide better study environment, our Hadoop/Spark cluster is available for each trainee 7 days * 24 hours.

2. Build Your Portfolio Internship with End-to-end Project

It is the internship experience that makes the most important and convincing part in new data scientists’ resume. Real data internship experiences distinguish you from others who only take courses online, and make you outstanding and attractive for hiring manager.

In our 10-week real internship projects, trainees will apply what they have learned from lectures in the first 8-week into practice. You will go through the End-to-End project, from identifying market and technical needs, developing the solution, to testing the initial product and deploying the final product. Trainees will have to create solutions in distributed system, covering the batch processing using the MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, pig and Oozie, as well as real time processing based on Storm, Kafka, and Spark. The whole End-to-End project is managed using Agile development methodology, together with Github version control.

In the coming session, trainees will be guided through the Full-Cycle project based on ‘Lambda’ data architecture. ‘Lambda’ data architecture is the vastest used architecture for real-time data processing.

The internship projects are backed up by start-up companies, who provides the real data and internship certificates.

3. Land the job with solid communication skills and excellent interview performance

Companies searching for employees are looking for someone who can clearly and fluently translate their technical findings to a non-technical team, such as the Marketing or Sales departments. You will prepare communications to different audiences. Our mentors and experienced interviewers from consulting firms will train you with solid communication and interview skills, and walk you through a full preparation for your next interview. By collaborating with other tech firms, we provide job referral for our students.

What’s More You Can Expect?

•  Go together, we can go faster and farther

No matter how many Udacitys/Couseras you enrolled, there’s a barrier that very few people ever get past. Be surrounded by other people seeking excellence and break the “barrier of excellence” that one reaches when learning alone.

We select and accept about 10 people out of the 60+ who apply for each session. They are extremely motivated and have skill sets complementary to yours. Do you want to spend time in the same room with them?

•  World-Class Network

We’re the center of an engaged network of data scientists, who work with us as hiring partners, mentors, and guest speakers. We match graduates with top technology companies at our Hiring Day.

•  Experienced and devoted teaching team

Our skillful and highly responsible Teaching Assistant (TA) teams are here to help you tackle any problem you may have and lead you step-by step. With expert instructors, TAs, and classmates, there’s always someone to get you unstuck.
