大数据时代的今天，越来越多的公司意识到数据价值背后的价值，因此对数据分析师的需求也逐步增长。根据Indeed.com的报告，在美国，数据科学家的平均工资为$124,251。数据科学人员高薪水背后的驱动因素是企业正在意识到大数据的力量，并希望利用它来推动明智的业务决策。而且，由于数据专业人员的供给尚未赶上需求，因此这些职位的 Entry Level 起薪仍然很高（50,000至95,000美元），尤其是对于那些拥有数据科学或相关领域高级学位的人而言。

数据科学家的薪水取决于以下几个因素：
