Introduction:
Supply Chain is a system of organizations, people, activities, information and resources
involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. It involves many aspects
of business activities such as procurement, manufacturing, transportation etc.
In the management of supply chain, people should make optimal decisions based on correct information.
It concludes several mathematical problems such as mathematical optimizations and data sciences.
To direct future decisions, people should use predictive models to gain prediction based on history.
The optimization will give optimal decisions based on these predictions. Only by these steps,
the management could reach robust and good performance.
In the course, the instructor will cover some important predictive models and their python implementations.
To get the material understood, a case study tutorial is provided and sample code will be given.
